BBM = BAL-BALAN MANIA

Taken from Kedaulatan Rakyat Daily Newspaper published on Sunday 8 June 2008. The story behind this cartoon was
the satire of BBM acronym, from Bahan Bakar Minyak (Fuel) to Bal-Balan Mania (Javanese word, have same meaning with soccer mania).
As known that after the government increased the fuel price, many Indonesian people shocked because they have to spent more money than before, while at the same time their income is still the same.
Thanks God, the Euro 2008 was held starting by 7 June 2008 until 29 June 2008, that helped them to temporary forget their problems in regards with the increased of fuel price.
